Hayley is Born! Glade did a home birth 100% Natural and Hayley was officially 9 pounds 1 ounce.

When Eowyn saw Hayley for the first time it was so precious.

Here is the proof! Hayley had already pooped 2 times before the weigh in so she was 9 lbs 1 ounce at birth.

Catching up!

so, my blog has been malfunctioning for the last four months so this is the beginning of my catch up. It has been an awesome four months and I just have to share it! : )

these are some pics from our amazing 20 mile backpacking adventure into the enchantments

Atop Little Anapurna on our Enchantments Hike. This peak is 8800 ft in elevation and that cliff we are standing next to is nearly 3000 straight down. Pretty spectacular. If you look closely you can see Mt. Rainier in the distance.

I couldn't resist. She is just way too good looking.

In the Enchantments. We camped at this lake. It was Dayne's (dad Dayne) birthday.

Glade on the hike. We found out when we got home that Glade was pregnant on the hike.

We are DONE!!! What an amazing experience to hike the Enchantments. 17 Miles (not including Little Anapurna) 8,800 Hundred Feet of elevation, 3 nights camping, the most spectacular views and scenes you may ever see. Loads of fun. Oh yeah and we touched wild mountain goats.

Wow! Eowyn is 1 year old today July 25th. She is the greatest little thing in the world. We love her so much and cannot imagine our life without her. She was born at 3:34 in the morning and she made sure that she was up this morning to celebrate the time she was born. Although she showed her excitement by crying at 3:30. Hmmm? Anyway she's a happy 1 year old girl!

Wow!! The two year mark! We took a vacation and had a blast!

Well, we had to take a picture with Eowyn before leaving the little sweetheart. It was crazy to know that we were leaving for a whole week!

She gave us a wonderful pose before we left and we showed this pic off to a lot of people when we talked about missing our baby

We are on the plane. We were sad to leave Eowyn but not that sad : )

We had arrived! We decided to fly in and out of long beach and just rent a car so we could drive to Palm Springs and then end our trip at Disneyland.

While in Palm Springs we took this tram up to like 8,000 ft. It was awesome and about 20 degrees cooler which means it was about 80 degrees, it was crazy hot down below.

We took about a 4 hour hike and made it to 9,100 ft.

It was weird that it was still warm at that altitude.

The scenery was amazing from the top!

After 3 days at Palm Springs, playing tennis, relaxin at the pool and just hanging out we were on our way to Disneyland!!

We made it! All the way to the happiest place on earth where all your dreams come true : )

I thought these were cute. There were some newlyweds walking around with them on but we only wore them for a picture : )

One of my dreams finally came true! We had dinner at the resteraunt that you see when you are on the Pirates of the Carribean ride. I had been to Disneyland 3 times and just always thought it would be cool to eat there so we did and it was awesome!

It was so awesome to take Eowyn to the Tennis court and let her just roll around while we played some tennis. She has jellies on! So cute : )

I love the sun! We went to Koulon park with Cara, Justin and Daniel and had Ivars. We all crammed in one car which was a real treat ; )

Here are some pics of the family climbing Poo Poo Point in Issaquah.
This is where the paragliders take off from. The climb is 4 miles round trip and a 2000 feet elevation gain. Everyone made it up and down alive... Even Eowyn!

We almost had to leave Lili (Michelle's little dog) behind to be claimed by the mountain. Luckily Sherpa Tom risked his own life to carry her down.

Our first family trip to Hawaii! It's hard that the family lives so far away but it is an awesome place to visit!

I am so blessed to have Eowyn as my daughter, we had so much fun together. This is us running from the waves in Makaha. My mom and dad used to live in the apartments on this beach almost 30 yrs ago. It is beautiful!

Ben and I spent our first night away from Eowyn and it was awesome!!! This was the veiw from our hotel room in Waikiki. My mom and Tim took us all out to dinner first as a late birthday celebration for me and then took our baby for the night. She did awesome. I haven't felt that refreshed in a long time. The next morning we woke up to the most amazing, bright, complete rainbow that landed right in the lagoon. God is so awesome, His creation is overwhelming.
We then went and had breakfast at Dukes.

It took a while for her to warm up to her Pappa ( she hesitates with most males) but by the end of the trip she was having a blast. She loves her Nanna, there were times she wouldn't even come to me!! She wanted her Nanna. This girl is beyond loved!

She learned to make some new faces and spitting noises, and was very encouraged by her uncles Sam and Noah : )

I love you Alivia, what a beautiful young lady you are!!

She now has her permit and she drove me around a few times, she has quite a nak for driving

Christmas Tree Day

This last Saturday our family went up to the mountains to cut down our Christmas trees. It was a blast. Dad and Mom, Matt and Mel, Steve and Ali, Glade Ben and Eowyn, Michelle, Janessa, and Matts brother Aaron and his wife Caela all made the treck.

This is a beautiful river we passed on the way up. Had to put the chains on the trucks so we took a pic.

We found that chain saw in the snow and were like, "sweet a free chain saw!" Then we knawed through the tree with our teeth. Wanted to do it like the Indians.... Did they celebrate Christmas?

Kidding the chain saw was Matts and Glade smoked through that tree in 2 seconds.

I can't believe Cara and I got to vacation in Hawaii together!! It was so much fun! This was Eowyn and Daniel's first time in the water. Eowyn is borrowing Daniel's swim shorts : )

I love my mom! It was so good to see her. She is such a wonderful grandma to my daughter. It is so hard that they live far away : (

My brothers are the greatest, we had a lot of fun snorkeling. On the way back I sun bathed on a floaty while Noah swam me across the lagoon, what more could I ask for?

Okay so backing up a bit. I, in hopes of winning backstage passes to mercy me, was in an eating contest!! Of all things I did not need to do after gaining 50 lbs during my pregancy that had just ended seven weeks prior! Well, I will spare you the details of what I had to eat but I lost : ( However, we were still given back stage passes!!

Carrie and I got to take little Eowyn and Hannah backstage where they stole the show.

At seven weeks old, Eowyn was held by a celebrity. She was so excited that she spit up : )

She is now very inspired to become a little musician.
